Colorcom Burnt Umber is a natural pigment that has been processed to improve color predictability and micronized for ease of dispersion. Burnt Umber is produced by calcining raw umber, a naturally- occurring ore, which is milled, and then micronized into a fine powder at one of our facilities around the world.
