Melting point 182-188°C. Insoluble in water, soluble in DMF and ethanol, resistant to acids up to pH=2-3 and bases up to pH=10. Resistant to hard water up to 5×10-4. Resistant to hard water up to 5 x 10-4. Optimum dyeing temperature 150°C (in a neutral or weakly alkaline bath), resistant to baking at 180-200°C. Its slurry and dilutions are not sensitive to light.
