Lithopone | Barium Zinc Sulfide | Pigment White 5 | COLORCOM LITP 152 | 1345-05-7

Short Description:

Lithopone is an inorganic white pigment in white powder, a mixture of zinc sulfide and barium sulfate. He is insoluble in water, strong covering power, does not work with hydrogen sulfide and alkali solutions, and is easy to decompose in acid to produce hydrogen sulfide gas. It is easy to oxidize in the air and deteriorate when it gets wet.
