Copper Carbonate Basic | Basic Cupric Carbonate | Copper II Carbonate | Copper Green | 12069-69-1

Short Description:

Copper carbonate basic, also known as patina and copper green, with the chemical formula CuCO3·Cu(OH)2·XH2O, is a substance produced by the reaction of copper with oxygen, carbon dioxide, and water vapor and other substances in the air. When heated in air, it decomposes into copper oxide, water and carbon dioxide, dissolves in acids and produces the corresponding copper salts.
