Cobalt Chloride | High Purity Cobalt Chloride | COLORCOM Cobalt Chloride | 7646-79-9, 1332-82-7

Short Description:

High purity Cobalt chloride is a red monoclinic crystalline system with the property of being easily deliquescent. It is soluble in water, ethanol, ether and acetone. At room temperature, cobalt chloride crystals are stable, but when heated, it will lose the water of crystallization and turn blue, and then turn back to red in humid air. When its aqueous solution is heated or added to concentrated hydrochloric acid, chloride or organic solvents, it turns blue.
